Tyrigosa is a highly skilled and agile elven sniper who was an ally of Malygos for over 50,000 years before becoming a prominent member of his Dominion.

History[edit | edit source]

Ancient History[edit | edit source]

Tyrigosa was summoned by Malygos to assist him in the Battle for the Frozen Throne. In that battle, Tyrigosa helped Malygos to fight Anub'arak and Kel'thuzad.[1]

In 100,080 CMT, Tyrigosa was with Malygos, Duke Hydraxis, Wrath, and Xavalis when Blackout informed them and Le Chiffre of his plans to conquer Bara Magna.[2]

Return in the Modern Era[edit | edit source]

Before Tyrigosa became a high-ranking member of the Dominion, she worked as an assassin, sometimes using explosive knife-grenades to dispatch her enemies.[3]

In 150,080 CMT, Tyrigosa accompanied Malygos, Captain Silver, Dr. Doppler, Duke Hydraxis, Emil Castlanger, and Richter Abend through a portal from Kamino 3.0 to the junkyard that Blackout had been teleported to in an alternate universe. Malygos kissed Tyrigosa's hand and proceeded to boast to Blackout that he had survived the destruction of Kamino 2.0 and had since independently built a thriving Dominion.[4] After Zev Raregroove used his newly-gained hyperdimensional abilities to destabilize Duke Hydraxis's form and threaten Malygos, boasting about his actions in a psychic message,[5] Tyrigosa informed Malygos that she had traced the origin point of the psychic transmission to "Sixty-Six Fourteen Pi in the Gamma Zone" of the Original Universe. As a result, Malygos was able to use a Dimensional Maw to forcibly summon Zev to the Magisters' Terrace.[6] Tyrigosa then watched as Zev impacted Malygos with a Stand Arrow, which created a Stand for him named Witchy Woman.[7] Tyrigosa was intensely jealous of the appearance of another woman in Malygos's life, warning the Stand not to get any "ideas".[8]

Later, Anzu brought Tyrigosa and Dr. Doppler with him to the Sōja as additional muscle in his attempt to warn Zev to leave Malygos (who was Anzu's student at the time) alone.[9] After Zev persuaded Anzu to stand down because he and Malygos were on the same team due to their shared hatred of Blackout,[10] Misaki Raregroove served Tyrigosa, Anzu, and Doppler plates of loco moco in an attempt to break the ice.[11] Tyrigosa stayed aboard the Sōja with her allies for a while, watching Misaki beat a training simulation in record time[12] and comforting Doppler when he became distraught by the realization that he had overestimated the amount of time Misaki would take.[13]

The Pandorica Opens[edit | edit source]

Later, Malygos teleported himself, Tyrigosa, Anzu, Doppler, Misaki, Ryoko Hakubi, Washu Hakubi, and Zev to Blackout's location aboard Darkmount to stop him from activating the Pandorica.[14] After mocking Tyrigosa as "the girl from Malygos's entourage [Blackout didn't] care about", Blackout teleported them all to the Shadows and Fire Dimension, where they could watch the Pandorica open without being able to interfere. Although Blackout attempted to strand them in the dimension by teleporting back to Darkmount without them,[15] Malygos was able to effortlessly teleport himself, Tyrigosa, and the rest of his entourage back to Darkmount.[16] However, Tyrigosa was powerless to stop Blackout from knocking her away with a large blast of Eclipse energy. An Exo-Toa then activated the Pandorica,[17] which led to a cascading catastrophe of events that culminated in a massive hole being torn in the fourth wall.[18]

In a last-ditch attempt to stop Blackout, Malygos teleported Tyrigosa and the others aboard the Magisters' Terrace and pursued Darkmount[19] through the fourth wall, arriving on BZPower.[20] When Tyrigosa, Doppler, Emil, Hydraxis, Malygos, Richter, and Silver emerged from the Terrace to find themselves in the Dark709's Comics topic, Emil and Richter volunteered to take care of Dark709, which gave the others the opportunity to explore BZPower.[21] After running through Protoss General's Comics,[22] Tyrigosa and the others were captured by Pohuaki and taken to the Suspending Prison for questioning.[23] When Pohuaki learned that they were characters who had escaped from BZPB, he brought them into a room that also contained the Makuta Anima, Toa Idiotas, and Xeno so that Black Six could meet them all.[24] Malygos telekinetically threw a chair at Black Six while he was distracted, which started a brawl that Malygos hoped would keep the BZPower Staff occupied[25] while Xeno dug an escape tunnel.[26] Tyrigosa furthered the brawl by using knives and a sword to attack the BZPower citizens.[27]

Eventually, Malygos teleported Tyrigosa and the others through the tunnel that the Anima, Idiotas, and Xeno had used to escape to the Bionicle Based Creations forum.[28] However, they barely had time to catch their breath before Blackout used the Architect's computer to create a massive amalgam fleet of spaceships that he programmed to attack his enemies, including Malygos and his allies.[29] In the battle that followed, Tyrigosa demonstrated an incredible display of super-elfin acrobatics and strength by leaping towards some ships that Ynot had drawn towards him and backflipping from one to another. After plunging one of her daggers into the cockpit of one ship and throwing explosive knife-grenades into the engines of three others, taking them down, Tyrigosa landed next to Ynot unharmed.[3] After Malygos summoned the entire Dominion fleet to BZPower via an interdimensional portal, significantly draining most of his magical energies and strength,[30] Tyrigosa came to his aid by taking him to the sick bay aboard the Terrace so that he could begin to recuperate.[31]

Cameo at the Tournament[edit | edit source]

In 150,081 CMT, Tyrigosa accompanied Malygos, Anzu, Doppler, Hydraxis, and Loki to the Tournament on Space Station 31337.[32] After Vultran forced Doppler to drink a vial of water,[33] which caused him to vomit because water was toxic to his species[34] and led him to call for backup,[35] Tyrigosa responded by throwing a knife into Vultran's back and saying "I hate low-lifes like you. Surrender and possibly I'll spare you".[36] Vultran pulled the knife out and replied "I would try it, but something tells me you'd grab me and hurt me...", leading him to decide to teleport away instead.[37]

The New World Order[edit | edit source]

In 150,083 CMT, Tyrigosa travelled to Datrio to assist Hydraxis in securing the planet's magical leylines for the Dominion in preparation for the Ascension Project. Tyrigosa was attending to a different task until Hydraxis became embroiled in a battle with Hakumen, a volatile warrior who Hydraxis had agreed to capture for Kokonoe in exchange for an armagus that would protect him from the seithr near the leyline convergence point (referred to as the Cauldron) deep underground. When Hakumen attacked Hydraxis in the basement of a Sector Three laboratory and sent a spray of molten metal hurtling towards his troops, Tyrigosa blocked the spray by generating a wall of ice, then activated her cloaking field to conceal her position while she fired a plasma rifle shot at Hakumen's neck.[38] Although Hakumen was unimpeded because he was able to rapidly heal the wound, he decided to stop his assault in order to explain that he was unwilling to return to Kokonoe because she possessed weapons of mass destruction that he suspected she would use on Datrio. In order to stop the fight, Hakumen stated that he would return to Kokonoe on the condition that the Dominion did not give her what she wanted.[39] Tyrigosa and Hydraxis agreed to Hakumen's bargain, so Tyrigosa used a device to bind Hakumen while Hydraxis called Kokonoe to inform her that Tyrigosa would be taking Hakumen back to her lab.[40]

After Tyrigosa dropped Hakumen off at Kokonoe's lab,[41] she returned to Hydraxis in the Sector Three lab to find that he was being attacked by a spirit named Rider who was riding atop a massive gyrfalcon. Before the gyrfalcon could sink its claws into Hydraxis, Tyrigosa incapacitated it with a shot to the head and a barrage of bolts from her sidearm. She then took aim at Rider with her sniper rifle,[42] but Rider knocked her off-balance with a powerful gust of air before she could fire, and mounted another creature, Becceren, that pelted Tyrigosa with bolts of light.[43] Barely dodging most of the bolts, Tyrigosa tossed two ice daggers at Rider while attempting to fire a few shots into the heads of her and Becceren.[44] When Becceren absorbed the shots and spat them back at Tyrigosa while dive-bombing her,[45] she dodged them by rolling across the ground. Forced into melee combat, Tyrigosa plunged two ice daggers into Becceren and used her momentum to fling herself towards Rider while also firing at the spirit with her sidearm.[46] Rider dodged Tyrigosa but was hit in the left arm by her gunshots, which caused it to go limp. Rider then instructed Becceren to perform 'Severing Arrow', a manoeuvre where Becceren fired a gigantic, arrow-shaped beam of light at Tyrigosa.[47] Though Tyrigosa was lightly burned by the beam, she was still able to fire a shot directly at Rider's head.[48]

After Rider dismissed Becceren, Tyrigosa's shot incinerated Breaker Gorgon, inadvertently revealing Rider's Eyes of Cybele. Tyrigosa was paralyzed by the Mystic Eyes' power, leaving her defenseless while Rider summoned another mount she called the "Phantom Chariot". However, Rider used the chariot to ride to save Noodle instead of continuing to attack Tyrigosa, who she instead warned to leave the area.[49] Once Rider was out of sight, a personal magical-dampening field designed by Dr. Doppler activated around Tyrigosa that enabled her to catch up to Rider, who had joined the battle between Hydraxis and Noodle. When Tyrigosa asked Noodle and Rider why they were defending the planet's vergence point so vigorously,[50] Noodle replied that, if the Dominion drained the Cauldron, the Millennium Earl and his Ninth Disciple would be able to convert it into an Akuma Factory, which would bring about the end of Datrio as they knew it. An explosion cast by Rider[51] then crippled Hydraxis, forcing Tyrigosa to use a communicator to call for backup. Anzu responded to the call by arriving through a rift of shadow.[52]

Once Anzu had assessed the situation, he asked Rider why she was opposing the will of Malygos,[52] though he received the same answer that Tyrigosa had already been given.[53] The Dominion operatives were then confronted by Viriathus, Makoto Nanaya, and Nefelpitou atop the Spirits of Wind, Rain, and Lightning respectively, with Viriathus demanding to know what was going on. Before Tyrigosa or her allies could reply, the Ninth Disciple, Rhoad Kamelot, revealed her presence by stabbing a lance of dark energy through Rider's back, critically injuring her.[54] While Anzu kept Rhoad suppressed with a barrage of shadowbolts,[55] he ordered Tyrigosa to prepare the Sphere of Dark. Tyrigosa obeyed by throwing six spherical devices into the air that together formed a circle around Rhoad which Anzu then charged with dark energy, creating blades of darkness that slashed at Rhoad inside the circle.[56] Eventually, the combined efforts of Anzu, Viriathus, and Prudence Franklin defeated the Ninth Disciple, who was extracted from the area by Tyki Mikk to welcome a new member of the Family of Noah elsewhere.[57] While Anzu remained on Datrio to clean up the Dominion's messes and negotiate a path to the Cauldron, Tyrigosa used a teleportation device to transport Hydraxis and herself off-world so that she could take Hydraxis to an elementalist who could heal his injuries.[58]

Ascension[edit | edit source]

In 150,084 CMT, Tyrigosa was one of many Dominion members who Malygos summoned to the Imperial Palace to witness the activation of the Ascension Machine. When Hassan surprised Lynvara by sneaking up on her, causing Loki to snigger, Tyrigosa silenced him with a glare.[59]

Abilities & Powers[edit | edit source]

  • Ice Magic: Tyrigosa demonstrated the ability to use ice magic on Datrio when she manifested a wall of ice to protect Duke Hydraxis's troops from a spray of molten metal thrown by Hakumen.[38]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • In World of Warcraft, Tyrygosa is a member of the Blue Dragonflight who chooses to disguise herself as an elf instead of a human whenever assuming a humanoid form. In BZPB's Battle for the Frozen Throne, Tyrigosa was summoned to assist Malygos at the same time as the Blue Dragonflight, implying that she was one of their members. Although this would also provide an easy explanation for how Tyrigosa was able to survive the 50,000 year leap without dying of old age, it has been stated on multiple occasions that she is in fact an elf.[13][40]
