The Prime Dimensions are the ten most fundamental dimensions of the BZPB Multiverse, collectively representing length, breadth, width, and seven other as-of-yet undetermined properties that enable the multiverse to support the range of life and matter contained within it. Shortly after the creation of the multiverse, the Users tasked the Chousin with maintaining the Prime Dimensions so that the Users could focus on creating their characters, the individuals whose actions would go on to define the multiverse's history. This arrangement has persisted ever since, with the Chousin monitoring the Prime Dimensions from their seat in the Hyperdimension and using their powers to neutralize anything that would threaten their integrity while Users focus on other affairs. In addition to the Chousin, each of the Prime Dimensions has its own Dimensional Caretaker, who assist them in their duties.

Inhabitants of the Prime Dimensions are sometimes referred to as prime-dimensional beings by the Chousin, the Instructor, the Preservers, and the other inhabitants of the Knowledge Dimension.

Significant Prime Dimensions[edit | edit source]

History[edit | edit source]

The Prime Dimensions were created by the Users as part of the BZPB Multiverse to house everything that would be considered "normal" reality, including their characters and the sites of their battles. As the Users were more interested in developing their characters and the lore of their new multiverse than working to maintain the metaphysical structure of their creation, the Users appointed the Chousin to maintain and safeguard the Prime Dimensions from within the Hyperdimension, a higher, "eleventh" dimension located beyond the confines of the Prime Dimensions. To assist the Chousin in their duties, each of the Prime Dimensions was assigned a Dimensional Caretaker, named D1 through D10, who would work to maintain their respective dimension's existence so that the Users and the Chousin could focus on larger-scale issues. Over the hundreds of millennia that followed, the Chousin used the aleph point of the Hyperdimension to monitor the status of the Prime Dimensions and used their abilities to make changes whenever they deemed necessary, subtly influencing the development of the multiverse.[1]

Despite the vigilance of the Chousin, hyperdimensional tunnels started to appear in the Prime Dimensions, allowing prime-dimensional beings (such as Ynot and Genetoes) to access the Knowledge Dimension and acquire knowledge that would allow them to rewrite history. Though some of these hyperdimensional tunnels were created by breaking through the fourth wall, which was under the jurisdiction of Socah, others seemed to appear randomly throughout the Prime Dimensions, allowing anyone to access them with minimal effort on their part. In response to the increasing raids on the Knowledge Dimension as a result of this, and the increasing awareness of the Knowledge Dimension among the inhabitants of the Prime Dimensions, the Preservers created the Canonical Directive: a new mandate that declared that any information that was henceforth stolen from the Knowledge Dimension would be tracked down and extracted from the minds of whoever stole it, and that, if the stolen information had been used to make changes to any other reality or universe, those changes would be reverted by one of the Knowledge Dimension's to-be-appointed "canon agents" through careful, responsible manipulation of time. One of the first canon agents was Sefer Yetzirah, who was created using the persona of the Reborn Universe's Sefer.[2]

Chousin (revision on 03:07, Jul 15, 2012): "The true Creator Supreme (The Architect), created the BZPB Multiverse and all of its dimensions, leaving the Chousin in charge of nurturing and regulating time, space, and life, so that The Users could regulate their characters. [...] Appointed to help them are the Dimensional Caretakers -- D1 through D10 -- With the three Chousin together acting as the Caretakers of the ever-mysterious Hyperdimension."
