The Happy People were an organization/cult/species of beings who seemed to be perpetually happy.

Description[edit | edit source]

At least one group of Happy People resembled naked humanoids with bright yellow skin whose only facial features were basic, cartoon-esque 'smiley faces'.[1]

History[edit | edit source]

Two notable members of the Happy People were the Happy Person[2] and the Happy Person Wearing a Red Shirt.[3]

In the Battle of Shinobi-Nui, the Energized Protodermis Entity summoned two large groups of Happy People through portals to Shinobi-Nui so that they would smother Ynot and Blade with their friendliness. When the Happy People approached them menacingly and attempted to hug them,[4] Ynot used his Kanohi Ultimix-Kakama to put a lot of distance between them while Blade threw a ball of lightning into the midst of the Happy People that exploded and stunned them. Blade then used static thrust to propel himself into the air in an attempt to escape,[5] but the Happy People began hovering off the ground and gave chase, still trying to hug him. Meanwhile, other Happy People chased after Ynot.[6] All the Happy People stopped in their tracks and fled when Blade activated his Kanohi Fushax, which filled them with an irrational fear that they were unable to overcome.[7]

In 150,084 CMT, at least one group of Happy People visited Kartouche's Moosical Extravaganza and fled into Hungry-man's log cabin when the Ta'har attacked the concert attendees for defiling their land. When the Battle of the Log Cabin broke out, the Happy People tried to break up the fight between Wayfarer and Dennis, but this only served to infuriate Wayfarer even more, who sliced through several Happy People and threw another at Car Guard.[1] Although the Happy People sustained heavy casualties in the battle,[8] some of them survived the subsequent crash of the log cabin on Meme World, where they paired themselves with Hide the Pain Harold, oblivious to the pain he hid behind his smile.[9]
