The Energized Protodermis Entity to Blade[1]

The Energized Protodermis Entity is a lifeform of unknown origin composed entirely of Energized Protodermis.

History[edit | edit source]

The Energized Protodermis Entity initially appeared out of nowhere and tried to kill everyone, but it was defeated by being sent into the future. There, it somehow became a servant of the Legion Makuta and gained a new purpose: to destroy everyone not affiliated with the Legion.[2] Blackout summoned the EPE and set it against his enemies, but it betrayed him and attacked him in addition to everyone else, so he was forced to join his enemies in fighting it. Makuta Ynot then also betrayed Blackout, which made everyone forget that they were fighting the EPE in the first place[3] and caused it to be sucked into a plothole.[2] Ynot assumed that it was defeated while he wasn't looking.[4]

In 150,082 CMT, the EPE returned in the Battle of Shinobi Nui, where it shaped a wave of Energized Protodermis created by Ynot and Blade into a new humanoid form for itself.[5] Ynot recognized the EPE immediately, introduced it to Blade, and started to run.[4] The EPE slammed a tentacle of EP into Ynot and Blade, but the substance did not transform or destroy them. The EPE claimed this was because "I affect only those I wish to", but launched an offensive wave of energy at them regardless.[6] Ynot and Blade rolled out of its path and Ynot indulged in nostalgia for a moment by pulling a pie from hammerspace and slamming it into the EPE's face.[7] The EPE destroyed the pie and shot streams of EP at Ynot and Blade,[8] but they dodged them once again.[9] The EPE responded by summoning Happy People from portals to smother them,[10] then left and walked towards the Cabana.[11] However, the EPE's path was blocked by Blade, who tried to use his Kanohi Fushax on it,[12] but it was ineffective.[1]

The EPE then created a clone of itself and informed Blade that it was "every drop of Energized Protodermis that exists", then left its second form with Blade while its first form proceeded towards the Cabana. The second EPE prepared to stomp on Blade,[1] but Blade was teleported away and the EPE fell through a trapdoor into the tubes that led directly to the Energized Protodermis pool that transformed the Makuta Anima millennia ago. Meanwhile, Ynot used G.'s Archery to fire a Storm Flame arrow into the other EPE,[13] and trapped both EPEs in containers lined with plasma fields strong enough to contain planets' cores for transportation. He then used the Cool Shades given to him by Zev Raregroove to transport the main EPE back in time to its first appearance in BZPB, creating an infinite temporal loop.[14]

Abilities & Powers[edit | edit source]

  • Energized Protodermis Embodiment: The Energized Protodermis Entity is, for all intents and purposes, a living embodiment of Energized Protodermis. Its consciousness is contained within every drop of Energized Protodermis that exists and it has complete control over the substance. It is able to form itself into a physical form of any shape it chooses, provided that there is enough Energized Protodermis present to support its chosen form, and is able to vocalize through any form it chooses.
  • Portal Creation: The Energized Protodermis Entity displayed the ability to create portals when it summoned Happy People to attack Ynot and Blade on Shinobi-Nui.[10]
