Turel was a member of the Knights of the Great Beings, unfalteringly loyal to Uterio di Armechio. After Uterio's death, Turel began working with his son Figlio to establish his rule.

History[edit | edit source]

The Uterio War[edit | edit source]

Turel was first introduced at a Great Beings camp on Mordor during the Uterio War. He cheered Uterio's name and asked Rahksha if he could be of assistance. Rahksha took him to discuss the future of the army with Praepositus. After Praepositus voiced his concerns about potential deserters due to Uterio's coma-stricken state, Rahksha decided to have Turel investigate potential traitors in the army, and then execute them in a gory fashion if proven guilty. Turel was happy to oblige, so he and Praepositus set a trap for deserters by notifying Praepositus's men that they will be reassigned to Attica-9 before their next ration packs arrive, and that someone had broken the lock on the escape pod bay. Turel prepared a ship armed with energy dissipaters waiting in orbit to take out the inevitable runners.

When word spread of Uterio's betrayal during the Battle of Mordor, Turel did not believe a word of it, and even murdered the man who told him. Even so, more of Uterio's troops began deserting by the thousands, prompting Turel to panic and beg Praepositus to help him. However, they were both helpless to prevent the collapse of Uterio's army.

The New World Order[edit | edit source]

After the Uterio War, when Caiaphus possessed Uterio's corpse, Turel was tricked into thinking that the Generalissimo was still alive. He destroyed several of TPK's droids that tried to attack "Uterio", but was forced to accept his master's death when TPK disintegrated Uterio's corpse with his rust cannon and Caiaphus's antidermis escaped from it. Turel and Praepositus left for another part of Mordor.

Some time later, Turel and Praepositus were found by Figlio di Armechio, who asked them for their help in establishing his rule. Just as Turel agreed to help him, they were attacked by a squad of Cybermen. He helped Praepositus and Figlio fight them off, and destroyed the last one with a shot to the head. After that, he went with Figlio and Praepositus to buy a ship from some Jawas, and left with them to Ailyb-Gypte. After securing an alliance with Ra, they went to a cantina to refuel their ship. While there, they ran into D-Klak, Abneris and Helryx. Once Figlio recognized D-Klak as the man who killed his father and attacked him, Turel helped by shooting at Helryx, who he assumed was another of his master's enemies. Helryx dodged the bullets and knocked Turel back with a pressurized water blast before fleeing the cantina with the others. When Ra berated Figlio for allowing them to escape, Turel considered killing him for disrespecting Figlio, and started to harbor a grudge against Ra. Turel, Figlio, Ra and Vellt then continued on their journey to Krustallos.
