Quolas was a Sha'lythe warrior native to the Dark Universe. He helped Kivalon escape his brother, Dukamu.

History[edit | edit source]

Much of Quolas's history is unknown, but unlike most of the inhabitants of the Dark Universe, he seemed to be on the side of good. When Dukamu began looking for Kivalon, Quolas found Kivalon and helped him devise a plan of escape. Somehow, Quolas discovered that the Original Universe version of Vultraz had the ability to create living antidermis, so he travelled to the OU and implanted a soul magnet in the Matoran. Later, when Vultraz decided to use his power, Kivalon's soul was sucked from the Dark Universe and tethered to the antidermis cloud Vultraz had created. Quolas discovered Kivalon's empty shell and realized that his idea was a success.

Quolas was later found by Dukamu, who demanded Quolas to tell him where Kivalon was. When Quolas refused, Dukamu killed him. Quolas's counterpart in the OU experienced this in a dream somehow, but disregarded it.

Abilities & Powers[edit | edit source]

  • Spatial Slicing - Using his sword, Quolas could create portals to another locations in time and space by "tearing" reality. He could also use it to seal tears created by himself and others. This version of Quolas was also able to use this ability to cross over into other universes, something that the OU Quolas still has not learned.
  • Communal Telepathy - Quolas could telepathically communicate with any other Time Guardian or Living Star across space and time. However, he could not use this to locate them.
  • Temporal Awareness - Quolas could instantly detect any attempts made to alter the time stream, no matter when or where these attempts took place.
  • Temporal Revision - Quolas had the power to create future alternate timelines by manipulating events in the past.
