"Could it be... the saver of humens?"
Dennis comments on John Freeman's arrival[1]

John Freeman is a legendary hero from another time and the grandfather of TTT.

History[edit | edit source]

In 150,084 CMT, John Freeman emerged from a portal during the Battle of the Log Cabin to protect his grandson, TTT, from the Ta'har who were attacking the former attendees of Kartouche's Moosical Extravaganza. Freeman warned the "Combines" (Ta'har) to leave his grandson alone.[1] Most of the non-Ta'har combatants were awestruck by Freeman's presence, especially Dennis, who recognized him as the fabled "Saver of Humens".[2] When Freeman announced that he had come to save TTT from the "enemys" and attacked a Ta'har by flailing his arms, TTT thanked him[3] while the aforementioned Ta'har turned into a ragdoll and smashed into a wall. Freeman's appearance increased the morale of the concert attendees, who thinned the Ta'har's ranks until the Wayfaring Ta'har announced their surrender.[4] Freeman accepted their surrender and celebrated with the others.[5]

All seemed quiet until Goldenn Flame allowed one of the Ta'har, Ta'harva, to pay her respects to her fallen comrades,[6] which was merely a ruse to allow her to get close enough to the bodies to turn them into Chainlingtons.[7] In the ensuing chaos, John Freeman witnessed Ta'harva fatally stab Goldenn Flame through the chest,[8] causing John to weep in sorrow.[9]

Later, the engines of the log cabin ship that the battle and its aftermath had taken place on were sabotaged by Juan Avem, causing the log cabin to crash on the surface of Meme World. John Freeman survived the crash and proclaimed that it had been the destiny of the concert attendees to survive the crash and save the universe.[10]

John Freeman was present when GregF revealed that Goldenn Flame was a clone of the original Golden Flame.[11] Freeman declared that they would "get the eval boss" who was "putting science in people and cloning them".[12]

Some time later, John Freeman was among the Meme World inhabitants who were contacted by representatives of the Cooperative and asked to help the Dong Squad overthrow Tommy Wiseau for a monetary reward.[13] Freeman said that he must do "what has tobe done", implying that he was considering joining,[14] but he eventually decided against it because he had a "battle to win in another time". After telling the Cooperative representatives that his grandson would help them instead, John departed by flying away.[15]
