This article is about the member of the X-Men. For other meanings of "Rogue", see Rogue (disambiguation).

Rogue was a member of the X-Men.

History[edit | edit source]

In 150,081 CMT, Rogue gained Spider-Man's power by absorbing a portion of his life force and used it to string up the other X-Men in the X-Mansion and turn them into puppets. She then screamed "THIS IS WHY WOLVERINE NEEDS A CURFEW" (presumably because, in some Marvel Comics continuities, Wolverine was a mentor to Rogue who helped her control her powers and emotions, and he was away from the X-Mansion at the time).[1]

Abilities & Powers[edit | edit source]

  • Life Force Absorption: Rogue had the ability to absorb portions of the life force of other living beings through skin-to-skin contact: the longer she maintained contact, the more life force she was able to absorb. Rogue's power was always active and could not be consciously disabled by herself. The life force she absorbed often included elements of the victim's memories, knowledge, talents, and powers, which she could then use herself for a limited period of time before the effects of the transfer faded.[1]
