This article is about the Apprentice of Caiaphus. For the species classification, see Beastman.

Beastman was a member of the Apprentices of Caiaphus who was killed by Abneris in a battle between the two before being resurrected in the Tournament of the Dead.

History[edit | edit source]

Battle of BZPower[edit | edit source]

In 150,080 CMT, Beastman was one of the Apprentices of Caiaphus who visited BZPower when Blackout's actions caused it to appear in the Original Universe. Beastman and his allies explored the planet's surface until they encountered D-Klak, Abneris, and the BLUE Squad, which led to a skirmish between the two groups. After Caiaphus left the battlefield through a portal, which prompted Raziel to comment that he had abandoned them, Beastman killed one of the BLUE Squad members with his claws and ordered Raziel to "shut up and keep fighting".[1] After Beastman killed several more troops with the help of Raziel, Abneris charged at Beastman[2] and whacked him in the head with his staff, which dazed him long enough for Abneris to summon a lightsaber and slice into Beastman's side. Abneris then slashed into Beastman several more times, which caused him to scream and explode.[3]

Tournament of the Dead[edit | edit source]

Beastman was one of the many dead characters who were resurrected by the Composer in the Underground to participate in the Tournament of the Dead.[4][5] When the Composer informed them that they would need to form Pacts by sorting themselves into pairs to participate in the tournament because those who did not would be returned to death, Beastman quickly partnered up and received a Pin that contained his life force and physical strength.[6]

It wasn't long before Akzer and Rahn realized that, if the contestants could steal others' Pins to gain their life force and strength, then one could eventually accumulate enough to return to the mortal world, similar to a Situation 456 that Caiaphus once mentioned. Beastman warned Akzer not to betray the former Apprentices of Caiaphus who had been resurrected in the Underground because they could easily kill him, but Tulio retorted that each of the Apprentices were more or less equally matched without their powers. This prompted Akzer to attempt to steal Tidal Wave's Pin anyway, which led to a brawl between the Apprentices[7] in which some were returned to death.[8]

Beastman's current status is unknown.
