"The Arnath Glyphs" is a collection of reading material about the generation and utilization of Lighthawk Wings. It is stored within a golden chest. It is currently in the possession of Malygos.
History[edit | edit source]
In 150,080 CMT, Zev hit Malygos with a Stand Arrow, which caused his Stand to manifest for the first time: Witchy Woman. Upon seeing Malygos's Stand, Zev summoned his own, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, to test Witchy Woman's power in a duel. However, what Zev was not anticipating was that Witchy Woman had the ability to disable anomalies, which included D4C, due to its semi-anomalous nature. The injury inflicted to Zev and his Stand by this power forced him to concede the duel. Zev gave Malygos a prize for beating him: The Arnath Glyphs, which Zev claimed could teach him many things, including matter-to-energy conversion. In classic Zev fashion, he then revealed that he had activated another latent power within Malygos, which would explode and destroy the planet they were on unless Malygos used the Glyphs to work out how to control it. Zev then teleported back to the Sōja and left.
Fortunately, Malygos was able to suppress this power (which he later learned was the energy to create Lighthawk Wings) by calling upon Washu for help. Afterwards, the two of them returned to the Sōja, where Washu explained Lighthawk Wings to Malygos and told him to study the Arnath Glyphs if he wanted to learn how to generate and control them on his own. Malygos took the Arnath Glyphs back to the Magisters' Terrace and read some, but later decided to let Washu teach him instead.
