Shield-Man Jones was a criminal on Malchior IV who used technological shields in his crimes, hence his name.
History[edit | edit source]
Shield-Man Jones was a criminal who was at some point arrested and imprisoned on Malchior IV.
The prison that held Shield-Man Jones was one day broken into by Raziel, who freed him and some other prisoners on the condition that they served him. This breakout was responded to by D-Klak, Helryx, Abneris, Ferret, Mink, Diru, and Kithlara, who assisted the prison's guards in subduing the criminals and escorting them back to their cells. Shield-Man Jones, of course, had no intention of returning to his, so he attacked D-Klak with a ray gun the moment he saw him. In response, each member of the group (minus Diru) threw their attacks at Shield-Man Jones, but his shields successfully blocked them all. His winning streak continued until D-Klak knocked him down through the use of the Force, disabling his shields and giving Mink the chance to beat him into submission by kicking him repeatedly.
The defeated Shield-Man Jones was then handcuffed and questioned by D-Klak, who wanted to know who else was tied with him. Shield-Man Jones was initially reluctant to talk, but caved when threatened with another kicking from Mink. He told D-Klak that his allies were Seither, Caged Pills, and two other unidentified prisoners. Satisfied, D-Klak walked Shield-Man Jones back to his cell.
When Klak encountered Raziel elsewhere in the prison, Raziel told him that he had freed Shield-Man Jones and the other prisoners so that they would be infected with a plague and form a movement that would oppose Klak. Klak, enraged and confused by this claim, teleported into Shield-Man Jones's cell and demanded answers. However, all Shield-Man Jones could tell him was that Raziel had talked to Seither and that they had planned the breakout together. When pressed for more information, he was only able to blurt out that he wet the bed until he was 14, so Klak finally left him alone.
