The Celestial Spirit World was the home dimension of the Celestial Spirits.

Description[edit | edit source]

The Celestial Spirit World was where the Celestial Spirits resided whenever they were not being summoned to serve mages who forged contracts with them in the third dimension. Being in the Celestial Spirit World seemed to have some sort of rejuvenating effect on Celestial Spirits, restoring their health and providing sustenance which the spirits were unable to obtain from mortal realms. For this reason, Celestial Spirits could not survive indefinitely in standard universes in the third dimension and had to periodically return to the Celestial Spirit World in order to survive. As long as Celestial Spirits were able to return to the Celestial Spirit World, they were effectively immortal: destroying their physical manifestations on any physical plane in the third dimension would, while causing them a great degree of pain, only force them to return to their home dimension.[1]

  1. Aries (spirit) (revision on 19:36, May 12, 2012): "As a Celestial Spirit, Aries can be called from her native plane of existence to any other parallel Universe by way of a key - However, she must first have been previously bound by contract to the mage who holds her key. Without the contract, the key will not respond to any kind of commands or use of magic. [...] As a Celestial Spirit, Aries has no survival needs of food, water, or sleep, so long as she is able to eventually return to her native world. It has been confirmed that all Celestial Spirits cannot survive indefinitely in mortal realms. She is also effectively immortal, as destroying her bodily manifestation on any physical plane will, while causing a great degree of pain, only serve to force her dismissal to the world from whence she came."
