Ta'harva was a female Ta'har affiliated with Project Wayfarer.
History[edit | edit source]
Ta'harva was one of at least six Ta'har who participated in Project Wayfarer, a secret project on Tybion that aimed to alter the genetic structure of the Ta'har species to grant them the ability to combine their minds and bodies into singular 'fused' beings, akin to the ability shared by several Matoran Universe species. The project was at least a partial success, as Ta'harva and five others gained the ability to fuse together into one 'fusion' named Wayfarer.[1]
In 150,084 CMT, the six Wayfaring Ta'har were among the thousands of Ta'har who stormed the venue of Kartouche's Moosical Extravaganza, forcing the concert attendees to flee onto Hungry-man's log cabin in order to escape the slaughter. Inside the cabin, Ta'harva and her comrades merged into Wayfarer to confront Dennis, a powerful entity who emerged as the defender of the concert attendees, and inform Dennis of their intention to reclaim Tybion.[2]
In the Battle of the Log Cabin, Wayfarer separated back into his component Ta'har, including Ta'harva, when he was overwhelmed by the full extent of Hide the Pain Harold's pain. The Wayfaring Ta'har drew their weapons and slashed at "Reveal the Pain Harry",[3] which injured him enough to cause him to revert to his usual "Hide the Pain" form. Patrick Bateman charged at the Wayfaring Ta'har and swung his axe at them,[4] but Ta'harva parried the swing with her own axe and began to duel Bateman herself.[5] When Bateman jokingly asked Ta'harva if she would like a "reservation at Dorsia" with him,[6] she defiantly replied that she would not eat until Bateman was dead.[7]
The battle continued until the Ta'har's forces were whittled down to less than thirty, at which point the Wayfaring Ta'har were surrounded and forced to surrender.[8] Dennis confronted the surviving Ta'har and offered to spare their lives on the condition that the Ta'har allowed the remaining former concert attendees to go free. After Ta'harva whispered something to one of her comrades, she addressed Dennis and asked him for permission to see the bodies of the fallen Ta'har so that she could see if her father was among the warriors who fell in the battle. Dennis accepted Ta'harva's request, but ordered Kranxx and Goldenn Flame to watch her in case she tried anything duplicitous. Goldenn Flame led Ta'harva over to the area where most of the bodies were moved,[9] where Ta'harva sneakily retrieved a capsule from one of the corpses and opened it, revealing its contents to be a viscous black substance. She then poured the contents of the capsule over the corpse and two others next to it, transforming the three bodies into Chainlingtons that came to life and attacked Goldenn Flame and Patrick Bateman.[10]
While Goldenn Flame was distracted by the attack, Ta'harva retrieved a sword that she used to stab the clone through the back, fatally wounding him. Carrots noticed Ta'harva's treachery and took a swing at her that she parried with her own sword,[11] but she was immediately hit by a missile fired by the Caged Zebra that destroyed her armor and slammed her against the wall of the cabin, severely injuring her.[12] While the remaining joke characters gathered to witness Goldenn Flame's passing, Ta'harva feebly crawled back towards the group and announced her surrender once again.[13] As punishment for murdering Goldenn Flame, the Caged Ones aboard the cabin grabbed Ta'harva and placed her inside an unoccupied cage, intending to make her one of their own. Ta'harva realized what was happening and begged the others to save her, but her pleas fell on deaf ears and her cage was rolled away.[14]
