In the Shattered Mirror Universe, Spiriah was a member of Trantoshen's splinter faction of the Brotherhood of Makuta.

History[edit | edit source]

Spiriah was a member of Trantoshen's splinter faction of the Brotherhood of Makuta that occupied Destral while Ynot was away conquering the other islands of the Matoran Universe. When Ynot returned to Destral with an army to take back control of the island by force, Spiriah fought as one of Trantoshen's forces in the ensuing battle. After Trantoshen was crushed during an attempt to use his Kanohi Komau to force a Tahtorak to attack a Zivon, Spiriah recovered him and helped him to sit up, which Trantoshen thanked Spiriah for. However, Trantoshen was then kidnapped in front of Spiriah's eyes by three beings from the Eternal Universe named Breakout, Blockade and Brawler, who accused Trantoshen of violating the "Universe-Travelling Restriction Act 1999" before throwing him into a portal and disappearing.[1]

Spiriah's status following the destruction of the Shattered Mirror Universe's Matoran Universe is unknown.[2]

Abilities & Powers[edit | edit source]

  • Absorption: As a Makuta, Spiriah could presumably absorb the mass of other biomechanical beings into his own body to increase his size and strength.[3]
  • Elemental Shadow Powers: As a Makuta, Spiriah wielded the elemental power of Shadow. This enabled him to fire destructive blasts of shadow energy as a means of attack, as well as create shadow constructs such as Shadow Hands and cloak areas in darkness.[3]
  • Telepathy: As a Makuta, Spiriah possessed telepathic abilities that enabled him to read, detect, communicate, and interact with non-shielded minds at a surface level.[3]
  • Kraata Creation: As a Makuta, Spiriah could presumably create Kraata slugs of varying types, which could then be turned into Rahkshi through the use of Energized Protodermis.[3]
  • Kraata Powers: As a Makuta, Spiriah presumably had access to the full range of Kraata powers, which would grant him the abilities of increased accuracy, instant environmental adaptation, anger induction, chain lightning, camouflage, confusion induction, cyclone creation, darkness creation, density control, matter disintegration, attack dodging, elasticity, electrical field creation, fear induction, increased resistance to fire and ice, gravity manipulation, eyebeam generation, energy draining, illusion casting, insect control, temporary invulnerability, magnetism manipulation, mind reading, molecular disruption, plantlife control, plasma generation, poison generation, power scream generation, rapid healing, Rahi control, shapeshifting, object shattering, sound dampening, sleep induction, slowness induction, sonic wave generation, stasis field generation, teleportation, vacuum creation, and weather control.[3]

References[edit | edit source]

  1. Trantoshen (SMU) (revision on 11:25, Dec 19, 2011): "[SM Trantoshen] used a Komau to force the Tahtorak to attack a Zivon, but was crushed in the process and recovered by Spiriah. Afterwards, SMT sat up and thanked Spiriah, but then something quite random happened: three people called Breakout, Barrack and Brawler from the Eternal Universe appeared and found Trantoshen to be in violation of something called the Universe-Travelling Restriction Act 1999, threw him in a portal, and disappeared."
  2. Ynot (SMU) (revision on 15:53, Feb 21, 2012): "[SMY] then had a little fight with Trantoshen for control of Destral, won, and enjoyed ruling the MU. Then Blackout arrived, which drove him to attempt to reactivate Mata Nui. However, Blackout responded by bombarding Metru Nui. Shika then arrived, and made a wager that would involve him and Blackout killing the normalverse Ynot within one week. They failed, miserably. Unfortunatly, the prize for the victor (the MU), was destroyed in the process, so nothing came about except this Ynot's death."
