Shadow Storm was a member of the Knights of the Great Beings loyal to Uterio di Armechio. He fought for Uterio during the Uterio War, but abandoned him and the order when he discovered his plan to betray the Great Beings. He was tracked down and killed by HK-47 as part of Angonce's plan to eradicate key Uterio War combatants.
History[edit | edit source]
Pre-Uterio War[edit | edit source]
Shadow Storm was first introduced appearing on the Major's ship on behalf of Uterio, to ask the Major about the status of his armies. However, several Dark Knights appeared before the Major could respond. SS told them that the Major was an asset, but the Knights ignored him and summoned Death to fight him instead. Death shot red lightning at Shadow Storm, so he opened a portal and fled. He soon reappeared next to Haig to ask him if his armies were still allied with Uterio. Haig led SS into a council chamber, where he announced to the rulers of his empire that Aeturnus had died. Shadow Storm then witnessed the chamber's guards turn on and kill Haig, and took the opportunity to preach to them the merits of an alliance with the Order of the Great Beings. The council agreed to add their forces to Uterio's, so Shadow Storm left. He returned after the 797th Meeting of the Council of Great Beings to tell them that war is upon them and to mobilize their armies. The council leader decided that Parmenion would command their armies, so Shadow Storm left with him.
The Uterio War[edit | edit source]
Next, Shadow Storm went to recruit the still-living Aeturnus into the Great Beings' war effort. Aeturnus told him that he would consider joining Uterio after he had finished reclaiming his land. Shadow Storm then disappeared for a while, reappearing only to rescue Uterio from the inside of a living moon. After that, Shadow Storm appeared as a hologram on Shinobi-Nui to tell Praepositus that his squad needs to return to his homeworld to meet Set. Some time after this, Shadow Storm visited the imprisoned Coro, who told him that Angonce was planning to betray Uterio and depose him. Shadow Storm ignored this.
Finally, Shadow Storm appeared during the Battle of Mordor to tell his master that Praepositus and Turel were on the other side of the planet. Upon seeing Namah, he tried to impale her on his lance, but instead ended up being hurled in the air by her Needle Ball. He teleported away to heal himself, and walked up to Blackout to ask whose side he was on. Blackout responded by throwing a D0g at him, but Shadow Storm stabbed it through the eye and blasted Blackout with a ball of air. This did nothing, so Shadow Storm teleported behind him and stabbed him in the head... which also did nothing. Blackout sent Shadow Storm to sleep with his Sleep Kraata power and moved on.
He was woken up soon after by D-Klak, who demanded that he concede. Instead, Shadow Storm blew him away with another air blast and teleported next to Namah to finish his battle with her, but before he could, he heard word of Uterio's betrayal of the Great Beings. Shadow Storm tore off his armband bearing Uterio's insignia and disappeared.
Post-Uterio War[edit | edit source]
Following the end of the Uterio War, Shadow Storm somehow escaped to the Dark Mirror Universe. Unfortunately, HK-47 tracked him down and killed him while he was teleporting with a lucky shot to the chest.
