Biography[edit | edit source]
Herald is centurion in nature. His lower half is that of a moose, while his upper torso is mostly humanoid, but with fur the same radiant golden brown color as his lower half. His head is adorned with elegant antlers akin to that of an impala.
History[edit | edit source]
After Ynot killed Scourge during the New World Order arc, he realized that he needed to choose a successor who would lead Aeon in the right direction. He looked out upon the crowd that had gathered to witness his speech, and immediately recognized one of them as a descendant of the old king Gazelle. Ynot called him up, and to his surprise, the creature had no name despite being royalty, so he decided to call him King Jones. Since everyone agreed that name sucked, Blade suggested Herald, which stuck.
With Ynot's guidance, the newly-appointed King Herald decided to build the City of Chrome in the trench that Scourge made, the Demon's Divide. Herald then went up to the Ironclad with Ynot to discuss plans for the city. While on board, they got talking about life outside Aeon, and Ynot gave Herald the opportunity to name his planet: he chose the name Aeon. Herald witnessed Ynot used his power over iron to build the city in a day, and bid farewell to him and the Makuta Anima, thanking them for everything they had taught him.
