Flesh-Eater is the name given to a monstrous Trilagon field agent working for The Cooperative.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Flesh-Eater is over thirty feet tall and has trilateral symmetry. It possesses two arms for each side of its body, resulting in a total of six, but only one leg for each. It also has an eye on each side, giving it 360° vision in multiple spectrums. It has a purple and red exoskeleton, with bits of flesh hanging off its spikes, likely from its previous kills. Its spikes are detachable, and can be thrown as spears to impale targets. Its mouth is located in the top of its head. Despite being savage in appearance, it is extremely intelligent, and can process alien languages to use within seconds.
History[edit | edit source]
Its travel pod landed in the depths of a swamp on Dekan, as Flesh-Eater believed that an old enemy, Nu'rugg, was hiding in a settlement nearby. After its pod door opened, killing a curious Dekan who looked like a cross between an alligator and a leech, Flesh-Eater swam to the surface and consumed its first victim. It surveyed its surroundings and saw below it another Dekan who had dropped to the ground in fear. Flesh-Eater processed its language, and told the Dekan to take it to the clan leader with the alternative of death. The Dekan obliged and took Flesh-Eater to its village.
Flesh-Eater was led through the door of a large hut which belonged to the clan leader, but found that all the lights were off. The clan leader, somewhere in the room, stated that he had been expecting Flesh-Eater's arrival. The creature switched to heat vision and pulled a spike out of its body, throwing it through the heat signature ahead of him. However, the heated object was nothing more than a decoy placed there as the real clan leader lunged at Flesh-Eater from the other side of the room. Flesh-Eater grabbed him with one of its arms, seeing him instantly as he had 360° vision, and ripped the clan leader's right arm off as punishment. Flesh-Eater threatened him with the loss of his other arm unless he shared the location of Nu'rugg. The clan leader responded by unsheathing his plasma sword, but his hand was cut off before he could use it. This game continued for a few more minutes but eventually ended in the clan leader's death.
During the battle, the orcish Dekan who had led Flesh-Eater to the village must have informed Nu'rugg's associates, as the warlord had apparently sent his son to the village to stop Flesh-Eater's rampage. Flesh-Eater recognized the son of Nu'rugg instantly as he appeared behind him in the hut. Flesh-Eater took the plasma sword of the fallen clan leader and used it to slice through its opponent, but found that he was just another decoy. It opened the hut's door and called out into the swamp that he knows the son of Nu'rugg is hiding out there somewhere and has set traps, and that it is able to play the waiting game. Flesh-Eater took the gauntlet from the dead clan leader's arm and plugged it into a computer in the hut to scan for information on the planet and Nu'rugg's whereabouts.
Once it had found its enemy's location (locked up under a swamp underground nearby), it destroyed the computer and stepped outside. Even more opponents had turned up to stop Flesh-Eater - this time a platoon of Nu'rugg's allied Dekans on a floating platform. Not bothering to kill them, the creature jumped into a bog nearby instead. After swimming past them and away from the village, the creature surfaced to find the Visitor standing in front of him. The Visitor introduced himself as one working for David Robert Jones, and asked if Flesh-Eater had heard of him. Flesh-Eater seemingly ignored the Visitor, instead pushing past him and continuing its travels until it reached the coast.
Abilities & Powers[edit | edit source]
- Thermal Vision: Flesh-Eater can choose to see in infrared, which makes it easier for it to find enemies by tracking their heat signatures.
- Omnidirectional Vision: Due to its placement of eyes around its body, Flesh-Eater can see in all directions at once, making it impossible for it to be sneaked up on.
- Omnilingualism: Flesh-Eater can process and learn alien languages within seconds.
