Dragku was the only planet where night crystals were known to exist.
History[edit | edit source]
Liquid Ocelot, having cheated death as a disembodied cloud of energy, possessed Zev Raregroove's spaceship and set a course for Dragku,[1] the only planet where night crystals were known to exist, so that he could use one of the powerful night crystals there to recreate his lost body.[2] When Blackout learned of Ocelot's scheme, he appointed Dreadwind and Darkwing as his personal guards and brought them on the mission to Dragku.[3][4] Blackout, Dreadwind, Darkwing, and Zev arrived on Dragku too late to stop Ocelot from using a night crystal to recreate his body, but Ocelot was severely injured by Zev in the battle that followed and was taken prisoner by Blackout.[1]

He survived as a cloud of energy, took over Zev's ship in order to get to Dragku as quickly as possible, possessed Zev himself, and headed to a night crystal mine, and used one of the night crystals to recreate his body, only to be severely injured by Zev and captured by Blackout."
