Xintun was a Herald of Unicron who served The Fallen.

History[edit | edit source]

Herald of Unicron[edit | edit source]

In 100,079 CMT,[1] Xintun and his brother Xaaron were summoned by The Fallen to help him escape from the dimension he was imprisoned in when The Fallen needed to consume the energy of only one more being to escape. Xintun set about his task by attempting to trick the rogue Makuta Ynot into entering the dimension; when the initial attempt failed,[2] he chased Ynot across several planets until he finally managed to lure him into the dimension. Ynot then placed a mask on Xintun that transformed him into a Hollow,[3] which left Xaaron with no choice but to kill his brother by feeding him to The Fallen, thereby providing the energy that The Fallen needed to escape.[2]

Although Blackout used the Vahi Cube to rewind time in the Original Universe by six months shortly after these events, Xintun remained deceased (presumably because his death occurred outside of the Original Universe).[3]

Tournament of the Dead[edit | edit source]

In 150,080 CMT, Xintun was one of the many deceased characters who were resurrected by the Composer in the Underground to participate in the Tournament of the Dead,[4] where he found himself standing next to three other formerly-dead beings: Helryx, Teridax, and Shattered Mirror Ynot.[4] After the Composer informed the contestants that they would need to form Pacts by sorting themselves into pairs in order to participate in the tournament because those who did not would be returned to death, he bestowed a Pin upon Xintun that contained his life force and physical strength. Although all four of them could have survived by organizing themselves into two pairs, Teridax immediately tried to grab Helryx's Pin, which prompted her to floor him and take his in self-defence, killing him in the process. This left Xintun, Helryx, and SMY: an odd number. SMY decided that he would rather be paired with Helryx than Xintun, so he killed Xintun.[5]

[...] The Fallen tries to free himself from his dimensional prison with the help of fellow Heralds of Unicron Xintun and Xaaron. He succeeds in doing so".
  2. 2.0 2.1 The Fallen (revision on 14:24, Feb 04, 2012): "At some point, he recruited two brothers: Xaaron and Xintun, and commanded them to gather beings for him to feed on. When the Fallen only required one more being in order to gain enough energy to leave his prison, Xintun attempted to trick the rogue Makuta Ynot into entering the dimension, and when that failed, he chased him across the universe, and finally managed to force him to enter the dimension. However, Ynot used a mask to transform Xintun into a Hollow, forcing Xaaron to kill Xintun by giving him to the Fallen in order to feed on. The Fallen promptly emerged from the dimension [...] Of course, none of this actually happened because of Blackout rewinding time by 6 months using the Vahi Cube".
  3. 3.0 3.1 Xintun (revision on 15:01, Jan 30, 2012): "Xintun was one of two brothers that served The Fallen in his attempt to escape from the dimension he was imprisoned in. He chased Ynot across several planets, and finally lured him into the Fallen's dimension. There, Ynot placed a mask on him, transforming him into a Hollow. His brother, Xaaron, then fed him to the Fallen. [...] Status: Deceased".
