Stelladi and Blue discuss Sirenla and Wren

Wren was a split personality of Sirenla who acted independently as an overzealous vampire hunter.

Description[edit | edit source]

Wren was a scrawny elf girl with grey hair and serrated teeth. She wore the same clothes as Sirenla, a bright yellow tunic with tan leggings, and carried a pair of swords that were strapped to her back.[2]

Unlike the other personality who shared her body, Wren was a confident and bloodthirsty hunter who had a profound hatred of vampires, especially ones who were male and albino.[3] Whenever Wren took control of Sirenla's body, Sirenla would lose consciousness and would wake up later with no memory or knowledge of what Wren had done.[4] Wren appeared to be in league with the Circle of the Black Moon, showing support for Yidrea's goals.[2]

History[edit | edit source]

Wren was a notorious vampire hunter who garnered a fearsome reputation that was sometimes mistakenly attributed to the other, meeker personality who inhabited her body: Sirenla.[3] Blue was "around" throughout many of Wren's escapades as a vampire hunter during the time when she was most active.[5] Wren seemed to consider Blue an ally, though it was implied that the feeling was not always mutual.[2]

In 150,082 CMT, the vampire Stelladi was reluctant to work with Sirenla to help her and Blue find Yidrea because of the negative reputation that Sirenla had garnered among vampires (which was due to Wren). Blue attempted to reassure Stelladi by saying "Sirenla has been fine for decades. No relapses right?", but Sirenla dodged the question, stating "as long as you aren't albino and male I don't think Wren will show up". As a result, Stelladi agreed to help.[3] When Stelladi warned the others that she would not be able to perform at her full potential during the daytime due to her vampiric nature, Sirenla commented "I thought the thing about vampires and sunlight was a m-myth?", which surprised Stelladi because she thought that Sirenla was a vampire hunter. However, Blue explained that the "vampire hunter" she was thinking of was Wren, Sirenla's split personality, who Blue assured her was a "totally different person".[5]

During Blue's battle against Karrasaliss on Drackovack, Karrasaliss boasted that she had "gotten rid of" Sirenla and Stelladi, leaving their fates (along with the fate of Wren) uncertain.[6] However, Sirenla was revealed to be alive when Wren caught up to Blue, Stelladi, Dario Nethneth, and San II elsewhere on Drackovack. Wren was angered to find that Blue had found herself some new companions while she had been absent, accusing Blue of having only "secrets and lies" and always planning to betray her. Wren also added that she took solace in the fact that, when the new order occurred with Yidrea's help, Blue would not be able to deceive her anymore. Wren then lunged at Blue, but was hit by a lightning bolt thrown by Stelladi and knocked unconscious before she could do any damage. Blue chastised Stelladi for her rashness, but Stelladi assured her that Wren would be fine because she had done the same thing over the previous nights every time Wren had caught wind of her following her.[2] Sirenla then woke back up in her body with no memory of what Wren had done, leading her to apologize on Wren's behalf.[4]
