The capital city of the IGCR, as Mazkertis imagined it

The Utopian Universe is a lie propagated by Mazkertis to manipulate people into thinking that Klak is essentially evil.

In this lie, the Utopian Universe was a universe that was not unlike the Eternal Universe, in that universal peace had been achieved. However, in this one, it was not governed by the main characters, but rather the Intergalactic Confederation of Republics, or IGCR. Representatives from planets all over the universe regularly met to discuss ways to improve life, with one representative from each planet participating in the discussion. Nadle represented Malchior IV, a Ta'har Tybion, a Cyberman Mondas, a Jawa Tatooine etc. Kakamu presided over this committee.

Malygos worked with Trixitin, Vultran and Livia in pushing the boundaries of knowledge by combining magic, alchemy and science. Zev Raregroove was a teacher, and one of the most highly regarded in the universe. Ynot, Blackout, TPK, Axalara and Captain Eurobeat were notable members of the United Defense Force, a subsidiary of the IGCR.

Mazkertis claimed that he observed all this from inside his nether cell in the void between universes. He said that he mentally skipped ahead to a later point in this universe's history to see if Klak would show up. When he saw him, he claimed that the Utopian Universe's version of Klak was "pure evil", and ravaged the main city of the IGCR with an army of monsters under his command. The UDF fell before him and the universe spiralled into war.

It is unknown if Mazkertis knows that this is in fact a lie anymore. His mind may be so far gone that he has convinced himself that these events all truly occurred.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The Utopian Universe is inspired by both the Eternal Universe and the political philosophy of Immanuel Kant. In "Perpetual Peace: A Philosophical Sketch," Kant posited that republics assembled in a federation of free states could lead to perpetual peace in the world.
