The TSS Jet-Ball II was a Terugan scout vessel that was originally built to intercept ships attempting to enter Teruga Prime illegally. When Teruga Prime was conquered by the ZFT, many ZFT loyalists were placed on the JB2, much to the annoyance of Captain Ade. After it was liberated from ZFT influence by the Dong Squad, the JB2 crashed next to them on Meme World. It has now been repaired and is journeying back towards Teruga Prime.

History[edit | edit source]

Early History[edit | edit source]

The Jet-Ball II was commissioned in 150,080 following the destruction of the original TSS Jet-Ball. The ship was constructed within a year and Ade was selected to lead the ship's crew. Unfortunately, it was only in operation for about half a year before the ZFT tricked the Terugan government into surrendering the planet. As a result of the ZFT takeover, several ZFT officers were placed on the Jet-Ball II and the crew received new missions that included attacking rebel outposts around the planet. Ade did not want to resign and leave her crew behind, so she instead made an effort to minimize all casualties during the attacks.

Encountering the Dong Squad[edit | edit source]

Three years later, the Spire of Conquest was destroyed by the Dong Squad and Lord Zrintch's fleet arrived to extract them. Enraged by the attack, ZFT leaders redirected many occupied ships to intercept and attack Zrintch's fleet, the Jet-Ball II included. Shots were fired between the two factions as the Cooperative ships left the planet. The Jet-Ball II locked onto Zrintch's flagship and darted around it while firing. Yon, seeing this from BONES's ship, suggested that Merasmus teleport them over to the Jet-Ball II so that they could take it out from the inside and help Zrintch escape. Merasmus accepted, and teleported him, Yon and the Hand over to the ship's hangar. Yon disintegrated a couple of ZFT soldiers with an optic blast as he made his own way through the ship. When he arrived on the bridge, he convinced Ade that he was there to save Teruga Prime and that she should betray the ZFT if she also believed in that goal. She agreed, and helped Yon take out another ZFT patrol that tried to enter the bridge. Knowing that the Jet-Ball II's armaments would not be enough to take out the rest of the ZFT ships around them, he came up with the idea of ejecting, and then detonating, the warp core while No Image Guy took control of the ship's systems and used auxiliary power to clear the ship of the blast radius. That happened, and the ZFT ships were destroyed. The now engine-less Jet-Ball II was placed in the gigantic hangar of BONES's ship, and Yon promised that Ade and her crew would be dropped off somewhere safe on the path to Meme World.

Crash on Meme World[edit | edit source]

Unfortunately, they arrived on Meme World quicker than they thought, while everyone was asleep. Because of the planet's unconventional approach to the laws of physics, BONES's ship's engines stopped working as soon as it entered the atmosphere and began to fall towards the surface. The Jet-Ball II was automatically dumped from its hangar, complete with its crew, in an attempt to lessen the load. Luckily, the ship landed on a patch of land that was as soft as a cushion, leaving it completely unharmed. With the help of Jesse Ventura, Ade purchased the matter converter of Hungry-man's log cabin and had an engineer reprogram it to serve as a replacement engine for the Jet-Ball. Ade took the opportunity to form her own group of joke characters to help her win the Terugan Civil War back home. This 'Meme Team' were brought aboard the JB2, which then departed for Teruga Prime.

Armaments[edit | edit source]

Being a scout ship, the Jet-Ball II has only light armour and shields are only to be activated in emergencies. It is equipped with multiple Pew-Pew Lasers around the side of its spherical bridge, that have to be manually positioned and fired by a crewmember each. Explosive Ping-Pong Ball Launchers are attached to the underside of the engines. When activated, ten or so explosive balls are fired from the engines, which can ricochet between enemy ships and explode after the second or third bounce.
