The Reverie is a council formed by the Galactic Government that occasionally assembles to discuss matters that affect the workings of the government or the Original Universe as a whole. The Reverie consists of at least one sentient representative from each member state, in addition to their personal aides and/or guards. Assemblies of the Reverie occur in a senate chamber within a collossal space station that orbits Mariejois.

History[edit | edit source]

In 150,084 CMT (Day 56 of The Mazkertis Paradox arc), the 3784th Assembly of the Reverie occurred in an orbital senate chamber above the Galactic Government homeworld Mariejois. The Reverie were under the impression that the new Commander-in-Chief, Akoran Zicks, had assembled them to vote on how to continue the work of Kong after his death, but the real reason Zicks had gathered them was so that he could use the assembly as an opportunity to announce his intentions to disband the Galactic Government in front of the largest possible audience (made even larger due to the fact that the assembly was also transmitted live across the universe). However, before Zicks could make his announcement in front of the Reverie, the assembly was interrupted by the sudden appearance of Captain Eurobeat, Strika, Niflheim, and Leviathan. The four travellers asked the Reverie to lend them resources to combat the threat that Mazkertis posed to the universe's timeline, but most of the Reverie dismissed their pleas as the ravings of madmen, save for one member: President Trump of Earth, who approached them with an offer after the assembly.[1]

When SM Zicks announced his intentions to disband the Galactic Government, the Reverie reacted with anger and confusion and argued for the government's existence, but SM Zicks ignored them and adjourned the assembly regardless because he believed that his position as Commander-in-Chief granted him ultimate power over the fate of the government.[1] This was proven to be untrue when the Gorosei, the reclusive founders of the government, subsequently overturned SM Zicks's ruling and immediately issued a warrant for his arrest.[2]
