"Magical" Pokotan was a murderous "anti-mage" who once travelled to a Grassy Planet to kill Laros.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Pokotan appears to be a human or human-like girl with hazel-colored eyes and light purple hair worn in pigtails. She wears large, paw-like appendages on her hands and feet that are white at the tips and fade into purple; the purpose of these is unknown. Her main outfit is a short brown dress with a golden emblem resembling a cat's eye on her chest. Atop her head is a gigantic purple top hat adorned with circular symbols.

Personality[edit | edit source]

Pokotan can be described as "playfully psychotic". She makes a game out of killing as many people as possible; as such, she keeps a close record of how many she has killed. In combat, she teases enemies with taunts and sing-song rhymes, which seems to greatly amuse her. Although she claims to enjoy a challenge, she is prone to fits of anger when losing or beaten.

History[edit | edit source]

Battle on the Grassy Planet[edit | edit source]

In 150,083 CMT, Pokotan emerged from a portal on the Grassy Planet in front of Mia, Laros and Theris. She announced to Mia that she was there to kill Laros and anyone defending him. She boasted that, with Laros's death, she would meet her goal of 1000 kills. She also summoned six gargantuan moths to aid her. The battle began when Mia slashed the wings off one of her moths, prompting Pokotan to start conjuring a spell in response.[1] Theris and Laros attacked Pokotan with air and light blasts respectively,[2] but Pokotan cut through their attacks with a spell named "Screaming Ghosts", which also blasted Mia away.[3]

Theris responded by conjuring an army of invisible soldiers to surround Pokotan,[4] but Pokotan negated them through the use of Evil Light. She then formed the Evil Light into a sphere, which she threw at Laros and Theris, but the two were unexpectedly saved by a barrier that materialized around them, apparently originating from Mia's music box. The barrier converted the Evil Light into another form of magic that blasted into Pokotan.[5] While she was stunned, Laros used blood magic to form daggers and slashed her with them.[6] The wounded Pokotan swore at the group and teleported away before they could injure her further.[7]

The Mazkertis Paradox[edit | edit source]

It was later implied that Boltman and the YONBOTS had encountered and defeated Pokotan during their travels. It is unknown if she survived this, but considering the usual method in which Boltman disposes of his victims, it seems unlikely.[8]

Abilities & Powers[edit | edit source]

  • Portal Manipulation: Pokotan appeared to be able to create and collapse portals as a means of travelling anywhere in the universe.
  • Teleportation: In addition to portals, Pokotan could also travel via teleportation, appearing and disappearing at will.
  • Moth Summoning: Pokotan was able to summon six gargantuan moths through portals to aid her in battle.
  • Screaming Ghosts: Pokotan could summon and launch a torrent of screaming ghosts at enemies. Once the ghosts had served their purpose, she could combine them into a howling beam of dark energy.
  • Evil Light: Evil Light is a form of dark magic that is used to negate any magic that doesn't have a long history. When using Evil Light, Pokotan was surrounded by a nebulous black aura with a pale golden-pink outline. Pokotan was an adept user of Evil Light: she could fire it in the form of twin beams and a large sphere.
