Pluta was an Osamodas who lived on the Twelve Worlds.

Description[edit | edit source]

Pluta was a young Osamodas woman with dark blue skin, messy white hair that reached down to her jaw, eyes with glowing orange irises, a small pair of demonic black horns atop her head, and a pointed "devil's" tail. She was dressed in somewhat skimpy leather clothing that was lined with white fur, including a large ruff on the front of her neck.[1]

History[edit | edit source]

In 150,082 CMT, Pluta was one of four people on the Twelve Worlds (the others being Finnegan, Peeply Lulu, and Sarasim) who died and passed through Incarnam with most of their memories and abilities from their previous lives intact - a rarity for Incarnates. Pluta regained consciousness outside the Sufokia Outpost in Astrub accompanied by her pet Gobgob, which she was relieved to find by her side. When a voice invited Pluta to enter the building, Pluta entered to find that the voice belonged to a giant anthropomorphic owl named Screech, who introduced herself as the representative of Sufokia in the Council of the Wise. Pluta could not recall her surroundings or how she had arrived there, so Screech explained that she was in Sufokia, one of the four nations of Astrub, and that, for her to have arrived there, she must have died on one of the Twelve Worlds and passed through Incarnam before being reincarnated outside the Sufokia Outpost for Screech to process as a new arrival to the region. As a consolation, Screech handed Pluta a passport disc that she instructed Pluta to take to Owlboss in the center of Astrub so that he could officiate it and make her a citizen of Sufokia. Once Screech had pointed Pluta in the direction of Astrub, with a warning to be careful of Snappers because it was their mating season, Pluta left the building.[1]

Pluta was surrounded by several hostile Don Puffnando Snappers upon entering the flooded plains of Astrub. She stunned the first Snapper with a blast of air, which weakened it enough for her Gobgob to capture by consuming it, before killing the others closest to her by piercing them with arrows fired from her bow. Once she had harvested the meat from the dead Snappers with her knife,[2] Pluta continued on her journey, eventually capturing five and killing a total of fifteen Don Puffnando. When several Zordfish joined the battle, Pluta generated a whip of fire that knocked one down, several energy whips that knocked away two others, and a fireball and an air blast that weakened two others enough for her Gobgob to consume them. However, one of the Snappers managed to avoid her attacks long enough to slice into her leg, wounding her. After she killed her attacker with a well-placed arrow,[3] Pluta was approached by a Feca named Erikkson who offered his assistance, mending the wound enough for Pluta to be able to walk reasonably well on the injured leg.[4]

When Pluta and Erikkson entered the town of Old Astrub, Pluta was amazed by the variety of Bow Meows that were living there because she thought that Ogrest's Chaos had wiped out most of the species. However, Erikkson replied that her knowledge was correct because the Bow Meows in Astrub were ones that had died and had been reincarnated. Because Pluta was intrigued by his knowledge of reincarnation, Erikkson explained that he had came to learn so much by convincing Screech that he was worthy of reading from her tomes, revealing that he was a citizen of Sufokia who Screech had assigned to research Snapper mating rituals. When Erikkson asked Pluta to help him in his endeavor because he needed an Osamodas's expertise, Pluta replied that she would be glad to once she had gotten Owlboss to officiate her passport.[4]

After a bit more walking, Pluta and Erikkson found Owlboss in the center of the town. Although Owlboss stated that he disapproved of the Council of the Wise's attempts to tie Incarnates to one particular nation or another, he granted Pluta's request for Sufokian citizenship. However, Owlboss asked her to stay in Old Astrub because he needed to speak to her and her "new compatriots" together once they had arrived. Pluta agreed, thanking Owlboss because she had been looking forward to researching the local Bow Meows anyway.[5]
