This article is about the familiar spirit connected to Niflheim. For other meanings of "Leviathan", see Leviathan (disambiguation).

Leviathan, or Levi for short, was the familiar spirit of Niflheim.

Description[edit | edit source]

Leviathan's appearance was that of an ebony-hued woman with long white-blue hair that resembled ocean waves, bluish skin, yellow eyes and a powerful voice that echoed like the abyss. She was clad in an aqua-colored dress.[1]

History[edit | edit source]

Leviathan had been bonded to her host, Niflheim, in their home universe for some time until an unknown event displaced Nif into another multiverse. This event severed Levi's connection to Nif and caused her to enter a period of stasis or inactivity, but she remained conscious and wondered what had happened to her host in his absence.[1]

In 150,084 CMT (Day 11 of The Mazkertis Paradox arc), User Nif brought Levi into the BZPB Multiverse and restored her connection to Niflheim so that he would be able to access her abilities in the fight against Mazkertis. Levi was pleased to be reunited with her host and lovingly smothered him while User Nif explained that, now that their connection had been restored, Nif would be able to use his Evolve power to its fullest potential and replicate the characteristics of any water-based life from any scanned planet and their entire genetic history. User Nif then teleported Levi and Nif back to the surface of Saskana to resume their crusade against Mazkertis.[1] Levi and Nif hitched a ride with Captain Eurobeat and his allies aboard the Night of Fire and spent the next month travelling with them.[2]

On Day 56, Levi, Nif, Captain Eurobeat, and Strika emerged from a portal on Akoran Zicks's podium in the middle of a Galactic Government conference to request assistance in stopping Mazkertis. Levi took Zicks's microphone and informed the gathered delegates of the danger that Mazkertis posed to the integrity of the universe's timeline, then asked for their help in stopping him, but the delegates were sceptical instead of concerned and Levi's plea was overshadowed by Zicks's subsequent announcement that he intended to dissolve the Galactic Government. However, one delegate heard Levi's plea: Donald Trump, the representative of Earth, who floated down to Levi's position to make her allies an offer. Trump informed them that if they freed the Joker, Seeldier, and Agent 47 from Supermax 282, he would allow them to take the assassins with them in their quest against Mazkertis and would secure the alliance of Earth for their future endeavors. Levi and her allies took Trump's advice and left through a portal to Supermax 282.[3]

Levi, Nif, Eurobeat, and Strika appeared in the prison warden's office on Supermax 282 in front of the warden himself, Lemongrab, who alerted the on-site security team to the intrusion. Guards arrived and handcuffed Levi's physical form, so Eurobeat used telekinetic dance moves to blast them out of the room while Nif broke Levi's cuffs with one of his razor-sharp fins. Strika then killed Lemongrab and transformed into her alternate mode, a tank, which Levi, Nif, and Eurobeat entered to be driven to the location of the assassins: Cell Block D.[3]

The allies encountered a large security force at Cell Block D that immobilized Strika with an EMP grenade, so Levi, Nif, and Eurobeat were forced to fight without her. Levi mimicked Nif's power of water manipulation to hold the human and human-like guards in place via their blood so that Eurobeat could knock them unconscious with little resistance. However, Levi was powerless against the boxguard portion of the security force, who advanced on them and hit Eurobeat's Stand, I Came Here To Laugh At You, with a shower of missiles. Levi expected Eurobeat to be mortally wounded because she had been told that if a Stand was significantly damaged or injured, the body of its owner would receive a portion of the damage, but she found that Eurobeat was fine because ICHTLAY had blocked the missiles with a defensive forcefield. ICHTLAY then destroyed most of the boxguards with energy blasts save one, which was destroyed by Strika as she recovered from her energy drain.[3]

Now that the resistance had been eliminated, Strika proceeded to blow a power box that freed all the prisoners on the block from their cells. While Levi and Nif searched for the three prisoners they had been sent to collect, Eurobeat was attacked by Chad, so Levi and Nif helped him to his feet but received no explanation as to who or what attacked him. The three of them then returned to Strika to meet Agent 47 and Seeldier, but found that the Joker had escaped.[3]

Abilities & Powers[edit | edit source]

  • Familiar Bond: Leviathan's connection to Niflheim allowed her to be summoned at any time (unless she was trapped in a different plane of existence), communicate telepathically with her host, and mimic his abilities. In addition, it seemed that Levi's connection to Niflheim unlocked greater usage of his powers: User Nif stated that, once Levi had been reconnected with Niflheim, Niflheim would be able to use his "Evolve" power to scan and mimic the traits of water-based life to its fullest potential.[1]
