Kremika is a harrowed Toa of Stone who serves as the muscle of the Toa Yerta.

History[edit | edit source]

Early life[edit | edit source]

Kremika was naturally created by the Kestora as one of the Po-Matoran to inhabit the Northern Continent of the Matoran Universe. Because there was not a specific village for the Po-Matoran to live in as their number was too few, Kremika felt that he never really fit in anywhere for most of his life. This changed when an agent for the Order of Mata Nui named Sequar arrived on the continent, looking for new recruits to join the Order. Craving a new start, Kremika volunteered, and fit all of Sequar's eligibility tests. The two departed immediately for Daxia, where Kremika was introduced to a higher-up member of the Order, and settled down with a new life as a recruit inside the Order facility. He was trained and taught for several months before being given a Toa Stone, which transformed him into a Toa.

On Kremika's first mission for the Order, he was assigned to investigate reports of a giant spider attack on an island south of Nynrah. When he arrived on the island, he talked to some of the residents about the creatures. Some had seen some, but didn't know what they were. His conversation was interrupted by screaming, and the sunset on the horizon was blotted out by thousands of Visorak screeching and climbing over each other to devour everything within the village. Kremika ran outside and tried to use his powers to form a wall, but it was already too late. The Toa was cocooned by the Visorak and the village was destroyed. The following day, he successfully broke his way out of the cocoon, though his body was mutated out of proportion by the venom inside the cocoon. In addition, the venom that was still inside his bloodstream affected his senses and emotions, so that he became very violent and quick to anger. For these reasons, he wordlessly quit the Order and went into hiding, disgusted at what he had become.

Many years passed, and the wandering Kremika was accepted by Karzahni into his land. One day, when Kremika was sketching something into the "screaming sand", he was approached by a team of five Toa: Rabot, Tanrus, Naterohk, Komerak and Ignika II. Kremika thought that the heat was causing him to hallucinate as it should have been impossible for the Toa to get in, as the island of Karzahni was sealed off with barriers of light. Rabot stepped forward and explained that Ignika II had used his powers to switch off the barriers, granting them entry, and in addition he would like Kremika to complete his team. Komerak didn't think that that was a good idea, but Rabot affirmed that he saw great power and potential in the mutated Kremika, which would be of use to the greater good. Kremika considered Rabot's offer, and accepted it, remembering what he thought when he joined the Order: if he were to die, it should be for the greater good.

Toa Yerta[edit | edit source]

Now that the full team was formed, the Toa Yerta commenced to do the usual Toa stuff: beating bad guys, cracking lame puns, and talking to the tabloids. These shenanigans involved getting into a bar brawl with the exiled Koranis and rescuing a baby Muaka from a tree. They also participated in the Toa-Skakdi War that was instigated by Blackout and Malygos, fighting on Zakaz. When they heard that the Matoran Universe was to be made uninhabitable, Kremika and his team used an experimental teleportation device that Tanrus took from Koranis, which allowed them to escape the impending doomsday. It worked, and they ended up on a random planet somewhere in the multiverse. Many years passed, during which they bullied Koranis again, fell into a plothole which led to the Unireverse, drove back to the main universe with Metax and briefly fought in the Battle of Mata Nui II.

Eventually rumours reached the Yerta concerning the hostile takeover of the multiverse by the Great Beings. The Yerta decided to investigate by tracking down one of them, namely, Serecio. They entered his ship, but triggered an alarm, were taken to the deck by some robots, and were beaten up by Serecio. In a bizarre twist of fate, their lives were saved when Wing Justice and Strike Destiny brought their raging battle to the exterior of the Nakamura, which caused it to crash-land into Alaine. The Yerta were thrown down one of the corridors as the gravity shifted and dunked in a pool of energized protodermis, which transformed their weapons, armour, and bodies into more powerful versions of their past selves. In Kremika's case, the pool destroyed all traces of mutation in his body, and transformed him into the caricature of a perfect Toa. Too busy celebrating being free of his mutations and testing out his powers on parts of the ship, he failed to notice the nearby death of Ignika II, and the immediate departure of Komerak until after.

After Kremika and the remainder of his team took some time to recover from these events, they decided to do their part for the greater good once more and fight against a nightmare army belonging to the GBs for the sake of all reality at the Battle of Mordor. During the conflict, Kremika fought bravely, using his powers to form giant stone fists to smash the enemy forces with. When the battle was won, he thanked the Knights of the Keruvim for their assistance, and the Yerta journeyed on.

Two years after the war, Kremika and the other three Toa Yerta were defeated and exiled to the UG by DU Monarch for an unknown reason.
