The Ka'amel Dome is a massive, bronze-colored dome containing an Ethereal City. Residing on the desert planet of Ja'ekel, "Ka'amel" in the common local version of the Ethereal language means "enclosed oasis"; alternatively, "Ja'ekel" means "open wasteland".

Covered by a huge bronze dome, the city fades out of view from great distances. As well, it is surrounded by rusted ruins in which bandit groups like the Twisted Sky Marauders roam. Its politics and economy are largely unknown, but the city is doing quite well.

Notable Locations[edit | edit source]

The Hangar - Located on the southwestern side of the dome, this large hangar is the only access point for any ships. It is quite spacious, and connects directly to the main city.

The Residential Districts - Built of beautifully-sculpted brass- and silver-colored metal, this is where regular citizens and workers live.

The Palace - With coppery spires crowned by gold, this elegant fortress is home to the richest of merchants, the law enforcement, judicial, and legislative departments, and the Trade Princes.

Reji'kel Bazaar - A bazaar surrounded by stone walls, many strange wares are sold here...

Residents[edit | edit source]

Soul Trader Halza'aj

Has silver-grey bandages containing his deep blue energies, and a thin, airy voice. He wears lightweight, pewter-colored mantle and gauntlets, a robing around his waist that hangs down to his mid-shins, and a dark blue sash. Halza'aj's stall sits at the far end of the bazaar; the wood it is built from is dry and cracked, and the banner is so faded that not even an Ethereal could read the faded, smeared characters.

Halza'aj deals in the souls of various creatures. Unlike most Ethereals, he appreciates honest, polite customers and reliable suppliers - All of which he finds in Viriathus - To the point that he will actually allow someone who fully deserves it a free pick from his selection. However, Halza'aj is an Ethereal merchant through and through - His first question for Vi after a few years was how her missions were paying off.
